TrusteeshipGIC’s President, Dr. Richard Gilmore, serves as a trustee for the U.S. Federal Trade Commission and the Canadian Competition Bureau. Dr. Gilmore’s trusteeship activities fall into one of three categories:
- Monitor Trustee – Monitoring compliance with orders issued by regulatory agencies in the U.S. and Canada, enforceable with respondent parties to any order.
- Divestiture Trustee—Oversight of required divestitures as part of decision orders by regulatory agencies in the U.S. and Canada.
- Hold Separate Trustee—Management of assets under a divestiture order from regulatory agencies in the U.S. and Canada.
