Rick Gilmore addressed U. of York conference on carbon neutrality Dec 7. GIC launching ag carbon emissions reduction futures contracts (CPC—Commodity Plus Carbon) after successful pilot. Gilmore said, “Futures are the most cost effective pathway for farmers to be rewarded for lowering carbon emissions. The first roll-outs will be for corn and soybeans.
