October 21, 2015 – GIC is pleased to announce a new mandate with All Agro Company, Ltd, for cocoa production and the processing of cocoa beans in the Eastern Region of Ghana. The project has targeted 2,000 acres in Panpanso, Eastern Region; 3,814 acres in Asamankese, Eastern Region; and 1,000 acres in Chiraa, Brong Ahafo Region. All Agro is fortunate to have the support of the Government of Ghana and technical assistance from an Israeli company, Agri Support Online.

GIC will provide comprehensive financial services to All Agro Company, including capital raising of an estimated 10 million USD for completion of the project.

GIC’s representative in Israel, Mr. Ofer Taran, in noting the importance of the project to Ghana’s economy said, “We welcome this opportunity to join the natural resources of Ghana with technological advances developed in Israel for agriculture. Given the trend of increasing global demand for cocoa, we think this project is well-placed and well-timed for success.”
